Goodbye 2009, Hello 2010

I can honestly say, this year, was the best year of my life so far. It started with Twilight. I know, that's lame for some people, but, it's the truth. Twilight...and Twitter.

I guess, it technically began last year, but it didn't kick off until January of 2009. In October of 2008, my friend Natahka lent me her Twilight book. Now, it was already a big thing, and all the books were out by that time. I wasn't super excited to read it. In fact, it took me 2-3 days to actually start it. I just wanted to know what everyone was excited about. I soon learned.

But, skipping up to January. January, I started using Twitter. A LOT. I had an old name then, though I don't remember what it was. If you do, PLEASE post it in the comments.

I discovered this blog, called TwilightHeaded, made of The League of Extraordinary Twilighters. They're superheroes who like Twilight. It was really interesting, and I soon became a regular commenter. That's how my name came about. TwilightHeaded had this thing, called the Junior League. Once a week, a fan got to have a blog post put up on TwilightHeaded. You got to have your own superhero name and everything. So, I came up with NinjaFanpire.

I guess the year exploded after that.

I started finding lots of Twilight related Twitters, so I started following and ReTweeting. I guess things just took off from there. Eventually I discovered Kaleb Nation, also called TheTwilightGuy. Oh ya, and this year his book got published. That was one of the highlights of my the year. *Show BH ARCs and 2 books.* Just a little. BlogTV also changed their logo for his book release.

But, backtracking a bit. Well, actually, moving back and forwards because I can't remember all the dates. Anyway, pretty much everything I talk about this year, happened and started this year. And now it's apart of my life, and hope it will be for a long time. It's like I've made my future in this year. Before I was just some kid living in this lame town and going to community college, not sure what to do with my life. Playing video games and surfing the internet, not doing much in particular. I kind of do the same thing now, but it's a bit more social.

This year I also discovered a lot of other people, and I hope I don't forget any. Well, for starters, almost everyone that I am subscribed to on YouTube, excluding the people I know in real life. This was the first year that I had a YouTube channel. And I just reached the limit of 650 Favorites the week of Christmas.

Okay, back onto memories before this video runs out of time. These are just some of the many people and YouTube channels I found this year. NoMoreMarbles, or Bailey. She's cool. I mean, there's not much else to say about Bailey. I wish she would make more videos. Doesn't everyone? Kaleb Nation, which I already talked about. I discovered Maureen Johnson, a great author and funny Twitterer, Blogger, BlogTVer, and, well....funny all the time it seems. Although I still haven't read any of her books. *Show three Maureen Johnson books.* I don't exactly remember how I discovered DFTBSabertooth. I think I randomly found her through BlogTV, either at another show or just clicking around and she looked interesting. Either way, I am SO glad that I did! The Hillywood Show. How could I forget them. I'm not even sure how I discovered them. I think it was their Twilight Parody. Danielle – UnofficiallyAlice or danigirl00. It is so awesome to sort of know Dani. I remember I went to a BlogTV that was like at 3am on a Sunday morning. And she wanted to show me her shoes for some reason. And I just thought it was odd that she knew who I was. But, I liked it. Because she treated me like a friend. I was surprised, but in a good way. I also met Robyn Schneider. I remember some of us were having a writing Skype chat, although it was more like anti-writing. Robyn Twittered to ME that she wanted to join us. I was like, whatev, come on over. And then I realized that she is actually somewhat famous. And it was then I'm pretty sure that that was when I found out SHE was following ME and I was not following her! So that was actually pretty cool. I'm just starting to get to know BellaRocksMusic, but I already like her. I hope the year brings more opportunities for us to talk. Your music is great, and your awesomeness is greater. I found whattheforks, a group of great ladies.

And last but not least, I made friends. Long Skype calls in the summer were great, and omgpopping was so much fun. I can't believe that it was just around last May that I was meeting you all for the first time. Thanks all of you for making omgpopping so epic and fun, and for making me laugh during the Skype calls. MrsJasperHale08 (Josie) especially. xtonks (Sam), reinix (Reyna), Donnie, TwilightGurle (Jackie), Tennath, jamieharrington, Flweep, jessicullenxo, ItsMarisaYo (Marisa), laurjulia, 1Katy1, NicoleKimberley, CSparklePro (Chandelle), joleena, and Anime81.

And some that I know mainly through Twitter, LittleLauren, theRachul, Medyaquesadilla, annie_bananey, HillyFans, and, though we've grown apart, thanks for being part of my year momof3crazykids (Now Valleegrl).

I met Group 1 Crew and got autographs, and to touch Blanca's hair

I wrote 50,000 words in a month thanks to NaNoWriMo

Kaleb Nation had his first book signing

I got to be there when Kaleb Nation read Bran Hambric for the first time live on BlogTV (on Father's Day?)

Jaden was on a boat. ALL YEAR.

I helped Natahka get a new cat

The TCWCKG was founded (Twilight crazies who crave Kaleb's Gnome(pires))

Paige Railstone was created

omgpop gave way to Cheese and crackass

We discovered that Michael Jackson's horcrux lives in Skype

Alice: “But Bella, don’t worry about that today! It’s your wedding day! Aren’t you excited? Edward is going to think you’re absolutely stunning! Not that he doesn’t already think that you’re beautiful. I mean, we all do-”

My take on the recent Rachelle stuff

If you don't know what the heck I'm talking about, it's about Twilight. Google Rachelle Lefevre not Victoria, or something like that. You can find out.

So, my take on the recent issue(s). I was on www.newmoonnation.org and made this on Jaden's post. However, I decided to post it here as well.

I'm not quite sure what side to take either. Personally, I don't much care who they have for Victoria. She's not the only character I don't really mind about. Also, the new chick they have looks the part.

I think that someone on either or maybe even both sides isn't telling the whole story. People want to hide what makes them look bad. So either Summit and/or Rachelle isn't telling something.
There was some sort of misunderstanding, since Rachelle I guess didn't inform Summit when her other movie was. However, it's been said that the dates for both movies have been set for awhile. So, I guess, this just came to mind, if Summit was really concerned with keeping Rachelle, then they might have checked the date as soon as they could.
Unless they did check the date.....And then said that Rachelle didn't inform them of the date, so they didn't know. But they really did and just wanted to fire her.

However, they've hit a bit of a snag with Rachelle's 'people'. They believe she should still be paid, however, that would defeat the purpose of Summit firing her, wouldn't it? Hmmmm.....

Alright, I have much to say on this topic, and basically I'm just going to copy the comments I made on Maureen's YouTube video.
So, two mom's in Florida want Maureen's book, The Bermudaz Triagle, moved to the Adult section. Well, from what I've heard from the news, it seems one of the mother's let their 12 year-old pick out some books from the YA section. Do you all know what YA means? Young-Adult. Now, I don't know about you, but I don't consider a 12 year-old a young adult. I also say that if you don't know what your kid is reading, if you really care, check to make sure the book is okay BEFORE they start reading it.

*Watching Fox video now.* Um, your child should know about sex by their teen years. And in all my years at getting random books from my YA section at the library, I don't think I've ever run across anything really bad (actually there was one....when I was a bit younger....I don't remember much about it). Anyway, libraries KNOW what belongs where. They're good at their job.

If you don't want your kids reading bad books, then check what they read before they read them if you don't know what it is.

I'm sorry, but do you know what YA stands for? YOUNG-ADULT. That's what it means moms. Meaning, NOT 12 year olds. (Side note-they just said Youth section on the Fox news thing. It doesn't stand for YOUTH. That is not what the Y in YA stands for.) I'd think that Young Adult mean, well, at least teenagers, probably high schoolers. It's not the youth section. 12 year olds, go read Lemony Snicket.

"Anywhere a 12 year-old frequents." Frankly, I don't think 12 year-olds should frequent the Young-Adult section.

Maureen and Bailey are twin sisters who have an uncanny ability to predict each others actions. It's almost like they have a telepathic connection to each other. Well, they do. The only problem is that Bailey is dead. Everybody knows it was her betrothed, Jaden. Except, that's not true. Bailey committed suicide, and Maureen knows it. She knew it before Bailey died, and she is reminded now. Maureen must convince everyone that Jaden is innocent and get him freed from prison. To do so, she must reveal her and Bailey's gift, and hope everyone doesn't think she's crazy for hearing a voice in her head. But apparently she isn't the only one. Hailey shows up, a third voice which Maureen and Baily had sworn they had heard sometimes. Who is the mystery wild card, and why does she share Maureen and Bailey's gift?

Mellon Chapter 8 (End)

The Elf has not thought about it before, but now a question came to her mind. What was she going to tell everyone? The tiger was still alive, but no one would believe her if she said that it meant no harm. She decided to put these thoughts out of her mind for now, and enjoy the walk home. She realized that she was walking through the forest for the first time without fear. She was walking with they very thing that was the terror of the forest, and yet she felt no fear.
After a short time of walking, the tiger and Elf had reached their destination. The place where the Elves lived together lay just ahead. The tiger stopped. She knew it was not safe for her to travel any further. The Elf knew this as well, She told the tiger to wait and hoped she understood, then walked into the small settlement. She was greeted by everyone.. They all wanted to know what had happened.
The warrior would answer no questions. She simply kept walking until she came to the tree in which she lived. Many of the Elves lived in the trees.. They built platforms in the branches and used furs and leaves to make coverings. Some of the braver Elves lived on the ground.
When the Elf came to her tree house, she climbed the rope ladder that served as stairs. She went inside and then came out carrying a small package. Amongst glances of bewilderment and a few more questions form the other Elves, she walked off into the forest, saying that she would be back.
There was the tiger, waiting. The Elf opened the package to reveal a beautiful necklace. She took it and placed it around the tiger's neck. Then she spoke. “Mellon” was all she said. The tiger understood. Mellon was the Elvin word for friend. The Elf was giving her a name.
It was a real name, not just a slanderous name like best. No, this was a name that meant so much to the tiger. It was something that meant that she had finally broken the ties between Elves and tigers. The tiger and the Elf were starting something today. It was something that would last forever, It was a special bond. A bond between tigers and Elves. It was a friendship. A great friendship that could never be broken. A friendship that the Elvin warrior and the tiger would keep forever.
The tiger was not a killer. The Elf knew this now. Even though no one else would ever believe her, she was content to keep the secret to herself. Throughout the years the tiger and the Elf kept meeting in secret. The tiger taught the Elf the secrets of her cave. She asked nothing in return but the friendship of the Elf.
Finally, after searching all her life for something that she had wanted so much, the tiger was content. She had a true friend. A true friend was all that she had wanted. She hadn't wanted to be a feared creature of death. She had just wanted a friend, and now that she had one, she was finally content and happy.

Mellon Chapter 7

Back in the main cave, the tiger had woken up. She stood up and stretched. Then she realized that the Elf was nowhere around. The big cat sniffed the air, finding the scent of the Elf. Then she followed it. She soon came upon the Elf in the library. The Elf continued to read, not noticing that the tiger had discovered her.
The tiger walked slowly toward the Elf. When she was standing right behind the Elf, the tiger let out a slight growl. The Elf whirled around, startled by the noise. She had not known that the tiger was there. The tiger walked over to the book and put her huge paw on it, leaving a mark in the dust. The Elf wondered what the tiger was doing. Suddenly what she had been reading came back to her, and everything made sense.
The tiger did not want to fight. She only wanted peace. The peace that had once been. The peace between Elves and tigers. Most of all, other than peace, the tiger just wanted a friend. She wasn't a killer. She was just misunderstood. The only thing that the tiger had ever wanted was a friend. Not just another tiger, but an Elf. That was the longing in the tiger's eyes. The longing for a friend that she could share the secrets of her cave with. Someone who would understand.
The Elf now understood. She lightly rubbed the tigers head. The tiger looked up into the Elf's eyes, and now, finally, her eyes looked happy. She knew that the Elf understood. The Elf looked back into the tigers eyes. They no longer had the longing look that she had seen earlier. They now looked full of joy and life.
Now the tiger began to walk away. The Elf followed. They came out of the tunnel into the room with the pool in it. The tiger turned down the second passage that the Elf had seen earlier. They began to walk slowly down the tunnel. This one had the same blue hue as the bigger cave, but the light began to fade slowly as they walked further. It soon became too dark for the Elf to see. The tiger did just as she had done earlier. She walked over next to the Elf and she took hold of her fur. Then they walked on.
All of a sudden the Elf found herself in a big cave. The top was open, and sunlight streamed in. The tiger and Elf had turned a corner and then found themselves here. The tiger of course knew what was coming, but the Elf had been unsure what to expect. She felt the warmth of the sun on her skin. It felt so wonderful after being in the cave.
The tiger began to climb. The Elf noticed that the walls were slanted, making it fairly easy to climb out. She followed the tiger and soon found herself at the top. She was now standing on a high cliff. She could see for miles from up here. The view was spectacular. It was like nothing that the Elf had ever seen before.
The tiger began to make her way down the cliffside. The Elf followed. She found that it was not very steep and the going was easy. When they got to the bottom, the Elf finally realized where she was. They had ended up near the mouth of the cave that they had gone into the day before. She knew how to get home from here. The tiger knew how to get there too, She began to walk off in the direction of the Elfin village. The Elf followed, coming up beside the tiger. She wondered what would happen when she returned home.

Mellon Chapter 6

As she was being stroked, the tiger began to purr contentedly. At first the warrior thought that the tiger was growling at her, but she soon learned that this was not the case. The tiger was still as she felt the gentle touch of the Elf.
Soon the tiger found herself falling asleep. The hand moving slowly over her back felt so indescribable. She had never experienced anything that was as wonderful as this felt. Nothing in all of the wonders of her cave compared to this feeling that she had right now.
The Elf saw the tiger's eyes beginning to droop. When she thought that the tiger was asleep, she slowly got up. She decided to go exploring. She took one last look at the tiger to make sure that she was sleeping, and then walked off down a passageway deeper into the cave.
She had walked for only a few minutes when she came to a pool of water. She walked towards it, wondering if the water was safe. Here, in this strange cave, nothing seemed certain. Everything seemed magical and unreal. She bent down and took some water into her hands. Then, cautiously, she took a small drink. The water tasted cool and refreshing. It was the most delicious water the Elf had ever tasted. She drank some more, quenching her thirst.
After she had drank her fill, she stood up. She looked around to see where she should go next. She saw two tunnels branching off to the right. She decided to take one of them and see where it led. She knew that she should not go too far so that she would not get lost.
As she made her way down the passageway, the blue light began to change. The color was no longer blue, but a greenish color. The Elf wondered why. This cave, with its wonder and mystery, intrigued her. All of the secrets that it might hold made her want to explore everywhere and learn everything about it.
She pondered these things as she walked slowly down the strangely green lit passage. Finally the tunnel came to an end. At the end was a room. The room was filled with shelves upon shelves of countless books and scrolls. She had never seen anything like it.
In the middle of the room was one single small round table. On the table sat a few books and some old scrolls, Near the table sat a dusty old chair that looked too unsteady to support anything. The Elf thought that this must be an old library. Very old, form the look of things. There was dust everywhere. She wondered what a library was doing down in this cave anyway.
The Elf walked over to the table and looked at one of the books that was lying open. It was completely covered in dust, just like everything else. She blew on it to try and remove some of the grime and dirt. She then attempted to read some of the words. After a few moments, she realized hat this was a history book. It told of a time when the Elves once lived in peace with all living creatures. They were even friends with the tigers, who were now the Elves worst enemies.

Mellon Chapter 5

The tiger had been expecting the fall. She knew this cave very well. She had lived in it for years. This cave held many secrets which no one but her had ever found out. The warrior, though, was about to find out some of those secrets.
As Elf and tiger fell, the Elf felt a deep sense of fear. The plunge was so unexpected that the warrior could not even scream. She just kept falling, terrified as to what would happen. She had thought that the tiger would not harm her. Yet here she was, falling to what would surely be her death.
Suddenly she hit the bottom. The tiger landed not far away. The Elf was unharmed. She looked around her, still in shock after the fall, and at not being dead. She looked around. She had landed on something very soft. She looked to see what it was. It was grass. The grass was very tall, and it was the greenest grass she had ever seen. It also had a sweet smell to it.
Then the Elf realized that she could actually see. The rocks around her were glowing with a bluish hue. She had never seen anything like it before. This place she was in seemed magical, with the grass and the rocks. This place seemed almost sacred.
The tiger walked over to see that the Elf was alright, The Elf had forgotten her injuries for a moment as she marveled at this strange yet wonderful cave. She suddenly felt tired. Her cuts were beginning to hurt again. She felt the soft grass under her and how wonderful it was. She took one last look at the tiger, then she she could stay awake no longer.
When she awoke, she couldn't remember where she was. Then she sat up and looked around. It all came back to her in a flash. She looked around again for the tiger. She was nowhere to be seen. The Elf decided to have a look around. She stood up slowly, feeling a small amount of pain, but nothing that would hinder her. The pain had died down since the day before, and now the warrior felt ready for anything.
She took a look at her surroundings again. She decided that she would look at the strange rocks first. She walked over to the wall. It wasn't the rocks that glowed, but the wall itself. The warrior touched it. It felt cool, and it made her have a sense of great calm. The warrior felt at peace. She felt like nothing mattered and that she could just stay here forever.
She was suddenly thrown out of her thoughts by a noise from behind her. She turned around to see that it was only the tiger. She had returned with food for the Elf. It was a basket of apples which the tiger had actually stolen from some other Elves. She hadn't harmed them, of course, only scared them.
The Elf came over and took an apple gratefully. She ate, thankful for some food after not having eaten anything in hours. When she had finished, she looked to the tiger. The tiger gave her the same look that she had the night before. It was a look of longing, but the warrior could not figure out what it was that the tiger wanted.
The tiger moved her gaze and then came closer to the Elf. She watched the tiger's movement. The tiger circled around the warrior. Then the tiger laid down next to the Elf. She turned her head around and began to gently lick the warrior's hand. She did not understand right away, but when the tiger persisted, she finally got the hint. The tiger wanted to be petted. So, the Elf slowly stroked the tiger, who just laid still and seemed to finally be content.

Mellon Chapter 4

The tiger continued to look into the warriors eyes for a few minutes. Then she moved her eyes to the warrior's wounds, surveying what damage the male tiger had done. The Elf did not have any armor on, The wounds had met only a small amount of cloth before striking flesh. The male tiger had not had time, however, to dig his claws very deep. The female tiger had knocked him off before he had a chance to do too much damage.
The Elf felt the pain in her back. Although the wounds were not very severe, they still hurt terribly. She knew she would have to get up soon. The sky had turned a dark gray, and it looked like there was a big storm coming. The warrior knew that it was too far to go home. She would have to find her own shelter.
She tried to get up. As she slowly got to her feet, she suddenly felt faint. As she was about to fall, the tiger rushed over an caught her. The injured warrior looked at the tiger and smiled gratefully. Then she tried to stand up again. She managed to get on her feet this time, although she was still a bit wobbly. She picked up her sword, leaning on it a little for support.
Then she sheathed her sword and looked around, trying to fin d a safe shelter. There were many trees around, but they would not offer much protection. The tiger had seen the sky too. She knew that she and the Elf needed to get out of the rain that would soon come. She looked up at the Elf and growled softly.
She looked down at the tiger. As if in reply the tiger moved a few feet forward. Then she looked back at the Elf, meaning for her to follow. The Elf hesitated, but a roll of thunder in the distance made her realize that she didn't have much choice. The tiger knew the forest better and would know where to find shelter.
The Elf followed slowly after the tiger, hurting from her wounds but knowing that she had to keep going. The journey did not last long. Soon the tiger had brought the Elf to a cave. The cave was big, and it offered shelter from the rain and wind.
The Elf was led into the cave. The tiger did not stop near the entrance but kept going and wanted the Elf to follow. The Elf was not sure why, and she was still not sure whether or not to trust this tiger, but she followed anyway.
Soon the cave became too dark for the Elf to see. She stopped. The tiger turned around and walked back to the warrior. Then she want and stood beside the Elf. The tiger moved so that the Elf's hand was near her neck.
The Elf wondered what the tiger was doing. It took her a moment to realize what she was supposed to do. The tiger wanted the Elf to take hold of her fur so that she could guide her through the cave. The Elf decided to take another risk. She took hold of some of the tiger's fur. Then the big cat began to walk again.
The Elf was quickly running out of strength. Just as she thought she could not go on any longer, the tiger stopped. The cave was pitch black, and the warrior could not hear the storm outside, although she felt a small draft of wind.
The tiger walked forward a couple more steps. The Elf walked with the tiger, still holding her fur. The tiger walked slower now then she had before. As the Elf wondered why, she suddenly felt herself falling. She let go of the tiger as they both plummeted down into the depths.

Mellon Chapter 3

The warrior had her back turned to the male tiger. As she turned her head around to look, the male tiger jumped onto her back, digging his claws in. As the warrior fell, the tiger gave a triumphant roar.
The female tiger watched in horror as the warrior came down. Then she smashed into the male tiger, knocking him off of the Elf. She followed her first attack by jumping on top of him and pining him to the ground again. The male tiger struggled free and pushed the female tiger off.
The female tiger quickly regained her feet. Then both tigers stood and face each other. The female tiger was seething with rage. The male tiger was confused. The female gave a roar, warning the male tiger once again to leave her and the Elf alone. The male tiger did not want to fight this tiger that he had wanted so much for his mate. He took one last look at the other tiger and then ran off into the forest.
The female tiger watched as the male tiger ran out of sight. Then she turned to look at the warrior. The Elf had deep gashes in her back. The tiger walked slowly toward the Elf. The warrior struggled to get up, but fell back to the ground. She looked at the tiger, wondering what her fate would be.
The big cat walked slowly toward the injured Elf. They locked eyes. The Elf was afraid, but did not show it. The tiger knew that the warrior was afraid. She could feel her fear. She could sense the fear, but at the same time she could sense wonder.
The Elf did not know what would happen to her. She was afraid, but she felt that she shouldn't be. The tiger had seemed unwilling to fight, but at the same time unwilling to die. This did not seem like the tiger that she had heard so many tales of. No, this tiger seemed much, much different.
The elf sensed that there was something hiding within the tiger. Something that no one had ever bothered to look for. Something deep inside that was just waiting to get out. Something that the tiger wanted. It was a longing. A longing deep inside for something that no one wanted to give.
The tiger was now standing in front of the warrior. They looked into each others eyes once again. This time it was not in hostility. The tiger looked at the warrior with eyes that seemed sad and full of trouble. The tiger looked at the warrior with eyes that had not the light of battle, but the longing of one who has searched but cannot find. The tiger looked at her with pleading eyes. Eyes that had seen more battles then the tiger wished to remember, and battles that she had not even wanted to fight.
The Elf looked back at the tiger. Her eyes were questioning. As she looked at this tiger, and the look that she gave, the warrior wondered what this tiger wanted. Was it just chance that she was alive and had been unharmed by this beast? So many warriors had perished trying to defeat this foe, and yet here she was, staring into the very eyes of the tiger that was hated by so many.
The Elf's mind raced as question after question rolled over in her mind. One thing she knew, however, was that this tiger was no a vicious beast. She was not dead, and this tiger did not seem eager to kill her. She was determined to try to find out what the longing as in the tigers eyes.

Mellon Chapter 2

The tiger was taken aback. This was no male warrior! This Elf was a female! All of the Elven foes that the tiger had met had been male. The tiger knew that female Elves were weak. Never had a girl dared to show her face near the tiger. They were all scared weaklings.
As the Elf stepped through the brush, Elf and tiger looked into each others eyes. The tiger had never seen an Elf so beautiful. She had long blond hair, and deep silver-blue eyes. Her eyes reminded the tiger of the moon on many of the clear nights that she had spent alone.
All hopes of a challenging foe vanished in the tigers mind. How could she even think of harming such a beautiful creature?
The tiger was suddenly thrown out of her thoughts by a battle cry from the warrior. Momentarily distracted, the tiger had let her guard down. She was nearly given a fatal blow by a sword that the Elf carried. She barely had time to doge out of the way before her opponent was back again.
The warrior tried to strike another blow, but the tiger was too quick. The tiger was becoming worried. Even though she did not wish to kill this Elf, as she easily could, she knew she must do something to defend herself from the attacks.
The big cat made a swipe toward her attacker, hoping it might scare her. The warrior only moved back a few paces to avoid the blow, then tried another attack on the tiger. The tiger jumped back, avoiding the blow. She wondered how long this could go on.
Suddenly a male tiger jumped out from behind a bush. Both Elf and female tiger were momentarily distracted from their battle. The male tiger had arrived very unexpectedly.
This particular male tiger was out courting. He had seen the strange looking tiger, and had been instantly drawn to her. As he had come closer, the warrior had appeared. The female tiger had seemed to need help, so he decided to show himself. He was determined to save this strange colored tiger and become her hero.
These thoughts were of course stupid. The female tiger could take care of herself. She had chosen not to fight this Elf. As soon as the male tiger appeared, he lunged toward the Elvin warrior. Just as quickly, the female tiger bounded toward the male tiger and knocked him away.
The blow stunned the male tiger. He had expected the battle to be quick and easy. Now what he had hoped would be his mate had apparently turned against him. The female tiger was now trying to stay clear of the warrior who was still trying to kill her. The male tiger decided to try again.
He tried to sneak up behind the Elf, but as he was about to strike, the female tiger quickly avoided a blow from the warrior and lunged toward the male tiger again. This time she pinned him down. She bared her teeth in his face, giving him a warning to stay away from her and the Elvish warrior.
The female tiger stepped off of the male tiger. He got up and walked off into the trees. Just then, the warrior snuck up behind the female tiger. As the tiger turned around, the Elf held the sword over her head, ready to slam it down on the tiger. The tiger just barely managed to roll out of the way. Suddenly there was a fierce roar, and the male tiger bounded back into the clearing, heading straight for the warrior.

Mellon Chapter 1

The tiger stalked silently through the forest that was her home. As she moved under the trees, she suddenly stopped and lifted her head. She smelled the air, searching the breeze for the scent of her prey. She quickly found it and moved on.
Soon the tiger was very near to what she had been hunting. It was just beyond a small bush that the tiger could easily clear. She could not see it, but she knew it was there
The big cat tensed her muscles. Then she leaped over the bush. There, on the other side, was a young stallion.
The stallion was part of a heard that belonged to the Elves. The Elves let the horses run free. They used them only for riding, and even though they were somewhat wild, the Elves still kept a special bond with them.
The heard had been grazing nearby when the tiger attacked, but as soon as the surprised stallion cried out, they took off. The tiger made a short end to the young horse..
Then she looked up to see if there was anything else around that was near enough to catch. There wasn't, so the tiger dragged her prey off into the forest. She found a patch of dry leaves that she laid on to enjoy her meal.
After the food, the tiger felt tired. The leaves felt warm and comfortable. She lay down on her side and was soon asleep.
Later she was suddenly awakened. Her keen ears had picked up a small sound not far away. The tiger instantly knew what it was. It was an Elf.
The tiger stood up and stretched, weary from the weak challengers that dared to oppose her. Many, if not all, of the Elves that the tiger had had to fight were weak.. Many were headstrong young boys who were trying to show bravery. They wanted love, or power, or dozens of other things, but all they found was death.
The big cat stretched her muscles, hoping that by some change this new intruder would pose at least a small threat. The tiger heard the Elf coming closer. She put her head up and sniffed the air. The warrior was close now.
The Elf kept walking until the only thing now between them was a thick line of trees. The tiger tensed her muscles, ready for anything. Then the warrior stepped into view.

Sunset Chapter ?

(Alice's POV. Sometimes after the demise of the Volturi.)
“I've always loved you Alice! But I knew that you belonged to Jasper. I can make him disappear, make him go away, Alice! If only you say that you're feelings are the same for me!” His tormented face gave away the truth. He wasn't lying.
“Edward.” This was going to hurt both of us. Of course I loved Edward, but not the way he wanted, the way he loved me. He was my brother, and he always would be.
“I can't love you in that way. I love Jasper. I always have. But I love you too. I love you like a brother, Edward. I always will. Nothing can change that. I can't know what you're feeling now, but....I just don't know what to say to make things better between us. No, Edward. I don't return your feelings.”
“Then you have decided your fate. If you will not live as my queen, then you will live as my prisoner! And anyone else who dares to oppose me! You will never see your precious Jasper again, Alice! Not until you agree to be mine!”
“Edward I'd rather die then live life as YOUR mate! You filthy, sick, sadistic- ”
“Now, now, Alice. Name calling doesn't befit you. You will soon change your mind about me. You have no idea what I am capable of, now that I am ruler of the Vampire world!”
“You're crazy! What happened to the Edward I knew?!”
“I am quite possibly insane. And the Edward you knew never really existed! It was all a mask! A ploy, to fool the entire family!”
“You've killed Carlisle and driven us all apart! And yet you STILL call us a FAMILY?!”
“Must be part of my sadistic nature, hmm Alice?”
“Edward.....what's happened to you?”
“Nothing Alice! Nothing at all. You're just seeing my true nature for the first time. Carlisle blinded you and made you see what he wanted. You don't really love Jasper. It was all Carlisle's doing!”
“That's a lie Edward! Carlisle wasn't anywhere near when I met Jasper!”
“Oh wasn't he?”
“Even if he was, it doesn't matter now! I STILL love Jasper, with or without Carlisle's influence!”
“Well that's just too bad, my dear Alice. Because you'll never see him again!”
I suddenly sensed something behind me. Not something, but someone. I turned around, and there were at least forty Vampires. And they were all coming at me. Walking, slowly, just to make me think about my impending doom. From the look in their eyes, I could tell they were newborns. What had Edward done? They were closing in.

I was going to die.

And then all at once, they were everywhere. It was like a wave of bodies, suffocating me. I tried to fight. I fought for Jasper. For the chance to see him again. So that he could see me. I knew I couldn't win, but I had to try. I felt myself being torn apart, literally. And then dark.

I don't know what happened. I didn't know how I was alive. Or why.

Where was I? It was dark, but that didn't matter to me. I went to feel around me. And that's when I realized that I was missing an arm. So, I had been torn apart after all. What happened after that was a mystery. I looked around me. I was in what looked like a dungeon. I went to get up, but as I did my hand touched flesh. Oh, the arm I was missing. Well, at least it was still here.
I grabbed it with my good right arm and put it back in place. I waited while the flesh mended back together, looking again at my surroundings. This was definitely some sort of prison cell. But it wasn't normal. I could tell just by looking at it that it had been made especially for Vampires. No doubt something Edward had his army build. If you could call it an army.
I wondered where Jasper was. He was probably worried. No, he WAS worried. But.....he wasn't going to find me. Not that I could see. There wasn't much to see. Not in anybodies future.
This couldn't be happening. Couldn't be real. Couldn't be. Everything I'd ever known.....ever wanted, ever hoped for, ever dreamed.....everything was gone. Just....gone.
Carlisle had lied to me. He'd lied to all of us. Edward had lied. Rosalie and Emmett didn't know....but they were gone now. It didn't matter. Nessie....little Nessie....She was gone too. Bella....Bella was probably dead, killed by her love. Esme was gone, torn apart by Carlisle's death. I couldn't see her future.....but I somehow knew she was still alive. Edward hadn't gotten to her yet, if he was planning to.
And I still had Jasper. Not with me, but he was still alive. But for how long? Edward might track him down, and something could happen.....any number of things could happen. Many had already happened. Life wasn't worth living without Jasper. Life almost wasn't worth living at all, anymore.
Everybody was gone. Everyone. First Carlisle, then Esme, Bella, Rosalie and Emmett.....and finally my one and only niece, the only one I would ever have. Renesmee. She was gone. But Jacob was still around. What good was he? He'd let Renesmee go. His fault. HIS fault. I was going to kill him. If I ever got out of here, I would kill that damn Jacob Black bitch.
Jacob. HE'S the one that almost made Carlisle kill himself. HE'S the one that made Renesmee run away. HE'S the one that hurt Bella. HE'S the one that's still here.
No. It was my fault. Without me, the plan wouldn't have succeeded. I shouldn't have agreed....I didn't know what I was doing. I should have been stronger, been able to resist. Edward had. And look what happened to him....to EVERYONE.
Edward. It was Edward fault. It had always been Edward's fault. He knew all along what Carlisle was planning. And he had his own plan. He betrayed our whole family. He used us, even more than Carlisle had. Because he had known.
But I wouldn't stop my brother. Not because I couldn't. But because......he was my brother. Whether he was evil or not....he was still my Edward. He was still the brother I had always known and loved. And no matter what happened, whatever he did....I'd never be able to fight him.
If Jasper ever found us....found me....He'd kill Edward for what he did. Or at least he'd try. But.....Could I give up Edward as a brother.....to be with Jasper again?

Yes. I. Would.

Why did it even matter what I did anymore?! There was no one telling me what to do, no rules. No family.....Nothing holding me back or tying me down. NOTHING.
I started to remember my first time as a Vampire. I remember that I woke up in darkness. That wasn’t new, I was used to being in the dark. Wasn’t I? Suddenly I didn’t know anymore. I stood up, a single fluid motion that surprised me. I was fast. Had I always been this fast? I felt around me. I was inside a room. I looked to the white bed with the white sheets. They were clean and spotless, except….blood? The pillow that I had apparently been lying on was stained with splotches of blood. I felt my head with my hand next, but there was nothing. Weird.
Then I figured out that I could see in the darkness, faintly. There was a door. I tried it, though I somehow knew it was locked. But the handle came off under my small hands. Wow. I was strong too. Was everyone strong and fast like me? Was there even anyone else? Was there anyone like me? Was I a freak? I crept out the door. My motions were fluent and silent. Good. I didn’t know what or who I was or where I was. Wait. What was my name? Maybe I had hit my head. Maybe I was in a hospital. But it didn’t look like a hospital. At least, I didn’t think so. All of a sudden, I heard a scream. I cringed against one of the cold stone walls. My eyes closed. I had to get out of here.
Then I stopped. My eyes shot open. I saw a building. It was a small tavern or café or something of that sort. Then a man entered. He was gorgeous, except for his red eyes. They looked….unnatural. But then my vision shifted and I saw myself. I was sitting on a stool, but when the stranger entered, I immediately got up and greeted him. Then the vision faded. I could hear the tortured, agonized, screaming again. I had to get out of here. I ran through the halls of this dark place. I didn’t know where I was going. I just knew that I HAD to get out.
Just them, I ran into a man who was walking down the same hall I was running. I shoved him out of the way, and he fell against one of the cold stone walls. Then, I saw a door ahead. I burst through it into an open space. It was dark, except for the big circles of light that moved on the ground and shined from above. I ran. I could see a fence ahead, but I didn’t care. One of the lights fell on me, and then I heard several sirens start. I still didn’t care. Before I could realize what I was doing, I was over the fence. I guess I had jumped. It didn’t matter. I was out of that place.
I turned around to look. I didn’t know what kind of building it was, or who was inside, or what, all I knew was that I hated it, for some reason. But it didn’t matter. I would never go back. No one would ever make me go back. I ran down the empty sidewalks, tying to get as far away as I could. And to find the man in the café.
Suddenly I stopped. A few feet away from me stood a small child. She looked lost and sad. Then I looked at my arms. They held the lifeless body of the child. A small trickle of blood seeped from her neck. She was dead. Had I done this? It looked like it. Why? Why had I done this? WHAT had I done, exactly? I set the child on the ground. I was a monster. I wondered what I looked like. I moved across the street to a shop that still had its lights on. I looked in the window.
Oh. My eyes were red too, like that man I had seen in the café. And my face. Was pale. But….I could see splotches of red around my lips. Oh. Right. Must be the blood. I went back across the street to the girl. I opened one of her eyes. They were blue. Hm. So I really WAS a monster. Was I some demon sent from hell, to reap destruction? Was I going to kill everyone? Was that my purpose? To DESTROY? I remembered ripping the handle off the door, and pushing the man, the blood on the pillow……..the girl. I was supposed to destroy everyone and everything I could. No one could stop me. I was faster, and stronger, and probably smarter too. But if I was so smart, why didn’t I remember anything about myself?
Then I remembered the café. The café! I didn’t hurt anyone there. Was I waiting for the right chance? Was I waiting for the beautiful man with red eyes? So that we could destroy together? And then, in the midst of my wonderings, I had another vision.
There were five of them. They looked…….like me. Pale skin and icy eyes. Except……their eyes were gold. And they didn’t look scary, like I felt I looked. And there was a house, white on the outside, and on the inside…..One of the walls was made of glass. It was green all around outside, and the sky was cloudy. I had to get there. Now. But…..then. I saw myself, with the handsome stranger. We were holding hands and walking up to the house. We seemed…..friendly. Were we going to destroy this place and the kind looking people inside? I couldn’t be sure WHAT we were going to do. Or what I was going to do, I thought, as I came back to reality. I had to find the café. Wherever it was, wherever HE was, THAT was my future. Whatever that was.
Hm. I had had a lot of questions, in the beginning. And then I met Jasper. He tried to help me out as best he could.
I had wandered the streets for days. I killed when I needed food, or drink, I should say. And then there it was. The café from my vision. I walked inside and sat down. I didn’t know how long I would have to wait. But it didn’t matter. I could wait as long as I had to. I could leave and eat and be back quickly. Besides, the café was probably closed at night. I could leave and come back, every day if I had to.
And that’s exactly what I did. For a full month I waited. And waited. And waited. I hunted at night, picking off those I didn’t think would be missed. I figured that it was best to remain hidden, until I knew exactly what I was supposed to do. And what I was. And who. Maybe the red-eyed stranger could give me some answers.
He finally showed up. I had waited about a month. I was busy staring off into space, and trying to find some answers in my mind, as usual. Then he entered.
He was wet. Oh, I guess it was raining this afternoon. I hadn’t noticed. The weather didn’t matter to me. I was inside all day, and even if I did go outside, weather never bothered me.
When he came through the door, I greeted him, just like in my vision. I wasn’t sure what to say; I had been trying to find the right words the whole time I was waiting.
“I’ve been waiting for you.” I said with a smile. Well, it was true.
“I'm sorry ma'am.” He said. His voice was amazing.
Then he looked at me curiously, and held out his hand. I took it, and then he spoke again.
“You know, I think I’ve been waiting for you, too, though I’ve never known it.”
“So… you haven’t been LOOKING for me?” I looked at him. So he didn’t know who I was, and I didn’t know who he was. Great. I was never going to get any answers.
“Let’s take a walk.” He said. We walked outside. It didn’t matter what happened now. Whether I died or destroyed. I still had no answers, and that was killing me.
We walked in silence down the empty street for awhile. We were holding hands like old friends. Close friends. It was a human gesture, but maybe monsters did it too. Maybe he knew more than I did about this whole monster thing.
“What’s your name?” I asked.
“Jasper. What’s yours?”
Oh. THAT was the first question he chose to ask. Grand.
“Uh… guess!” That was all I could think to say. I didn’t know I was supposed to have a name. He did. Maybe he did have SOME answers I needed after all.
He looked at me curiously again. I felt happy inside. He seemed happy too.
“Jane?”
“No.” That didn’t sound right. I didn’t like it.
“Laura?”
“Uh, wrong again.” Not that one.
“Clara?”
“Keep going.” They weren’t getting any better.
“Katherine?”
Hmmm…. I liked that one. Let’s see what else he had.
“One more time.”
“Alice?”
Alice. Alice sounded alright. It sounded…..familiar. Sure, that could be it. Why not? Alice. I was Alice. Yep, I liked Alice. Why? Hah, same answer to all of my questions. I didn’t know.
“So what is it?”
Oh. I had been spacing off. And I wasn’t even having a vision. This guy was making me lightheaded.
“Um, Alice, ya, that’s right.”
He looked at me a little funny. I hoped he wouldn’t guess I had just made that up.
“Good job.”
We walked in silence for a little while longer. He was quiet. I wished he would tell me something. Some information I could use, without having to ask all the questions to get it.
“So…. do you live somewhere?”
He gave me that funny look again.
“No, not really.”
Silence again. Perfect.
“So why were you waiting for me?”
NOW he asked a question. Another tough one too. Gees, I sure knew how to pick ‘em!
“Will you laugh if I tell you?”
There was that look again.
“No. Many of us have talents. All of them are different.”
He’d said US. So there were more of our kind. Hm.
“I saw you….in a vision.”
“Really? So are your visions random or can they be controlled?”
What was it with his questions?
“Um, random. Kind of. I mean, they’re always of the future. And it’s always my future. But….. they usually don’t make sense. Except………. you always seem to be in them.”
“So you can’t see anyone else’s future but your own?”
“I guess so…. I’ve never tried to see anyone else’s. I don’t know how.”
He gave an understanding look then.
“You’re new, aren’t you?”
Yep. So, it was that obvious? New. Wait. New to what?
“Sure. I don’t really know. I only remember the past month or so. Anything before that….well, it’s just black. Can I ask what it is I’m new to?”
He looked at me strangely again.
“So…. you don’t remember changing?”
“What do you mean by that?”
“Becoming a Vampire of course!”
Vampire. I was a Vampire?!
“Is that what we are?”
“Yes Alice. Is your name REALLY Alice?”
Crap. Well, may as well tell him everything. The little that that was.
“No. Maybe. I don’t remember.”
“That’s alright. I like Alice.”
“So do I.”
There was a pause as we continued walking.
“So… where are we going?”
“Don’t you know?” He smiled.
“Should I?”
“Well, you said you could see the future.”
“Not all of it.”
“Well, is there anywhere we SHOULD be going?”
“There was a house….. and five others who looked like us. But with gold eyes instead of red. And we were walking towards the house.”
“Gold…… that’s strange.”
“Do you know what it means? The eyes, I mean.”
“No. But I know someone who might.”
“Can we go see him? Now?”
“She, Alice. And now is fine.”
Oh. She.
“Is she, ummmm, are you two, uh….…..close?”
Wonderful. I couldn’t think of the right word. What was wrong with my brain?!
He laughed at me. I sighed.
“No, nothing like that. She’s just a friend. She’s the one who turned me, actually.”
Turned? ANOTHER question.
“By the way,” he said, “who turned you? Shouldn’t they have taught you what to do or something?”
“I don’t know what you mean, exactly.”
“Well, we can talk about it later. We’re here. Once we see about the gold eyed Vampires, maybe you and I can leave this place. Just the two of us, together.”
I liked that last part. Just the two of us, TOGETHER. And together we would stay, no matter what.
Forever.

Forever. Ya, that's what I'd thought back then. Now I wasn't so sure. But....there was still more to the story. Our story. How we began, what we had been through. We went through so much in the beginning. But, the meeting wasn't where our journey ended.
I don't remember much about the meeting, just that it was interesting. We had met with someone named Mary. That was the woman who had turned Jasper. She said she’d heard rumors of Vampires that lived on the blood of animals rather than humans. That’s why their eyes were gold. She didn’t know where to find them, but she didn’t care or want to find them either. She liked her life here. So Jasper and I had left her, with a few of my questions answered. We were going to find the gold eyed Vampires, just Jasper and I.
The first day we traveled, I got an unexpected surprise. Jasper had said we needed to get out of the town before morning. I didn’t know why, but he knew more about being a Vampire than I did, so I didn’t question him. We walked through the town and were finally out of it by morning. We were traveling through an empty field as the sun started to rise. I looked at Jasper, to ask him if it was safe to travel during the day now that we were no longer in the city. I gasped. His face glimmered in the early rays that were cast by the sun. He was even more stunning than he had been when I’d first met him.
“What?” He asked, staring at me intently like I had just asked a question I should’ve known the answer to.
“Um……” Was all I could manage to get out. My breath was taken away.
He kept looking at me with his funny expression.
Oh. I was staring, and intently at that. And we had stopped running.
“You……you’re……..amazing.” I breathed.
He laughed, and I was once again taken aback. He had a laugh like none I’d ever heard. Right, like that mattered. I couldn’t EVER remember hearing anyone laugh. Not even my self.
“And what are you then, Alice?” He asked me.
“Nothing compared with you.” I answered, half ashamed that I couldn’t match him in beauty.
“Is that really what you think Alice? Well, I beg to differ. I think that YOU are absolutely ravishing! Just look at yourself! Come here!”
He took my hand and led me over to a rather large puddle. It must have been left from the rain yesterday.
“Look Alice.” He said.
And I did. But I couldn’t believe that it was me. My skin glittered and shined just like Jaspers. I touched my pale face with my right hand, and noticed that where ever the sun caught it, it glittered too. I looked at Jasper’s hand, which was still holding my left one. Yes, his hands glittered just like mine did.
“I’m still not as beautiful as you are Jasper.”
“No, you’re not Alice. You’re a thousand times better.”
“You’re just saying that Jasper.”
“And why should I ‘just be saying that’. Is it a crime to call the woman you love beautiful?”
“It is if it’s not true.”
“But it is.”
I kicked at the puddle, sending most of the water flying with the force.
“I’m not beautiful Jasper. A killer can’t be beautiful.”
And then I realized that I had said the wrong thing. Jasper was a killer. I had been, but not anymore. Well, not really. Animals didn’t think like humans did. They didn’t have souls like humans did. They didn’t scream in pain and fear like humans did. I didn’t see Jasper as a killer. I was used to his actions. He’d usually go somewhere else, away from me, and have his meal. He knew I didn’t like that he killed humans, but he understood and respected me. And I respected his decision as well.
“Jasper I--------- that’s not what I meant. It’s just……..Oh I don’t know what I’m trying to say! It just…..it’s different because I feel guilty about it. Because I’VE killed Jasper! I don’t care if you do it, but it just feels different for me than it probably does for you. I don’t know if you ever regret killing someone, but I do. Everyone I killed, I’ll never forget any of them! They’re going to haunt me until……………until……………..for forever Jasper! Do you know what it’s like?! To feel BAD about it?! I don’t care if you don’t, but I do Jasper! I do! I do I do I do!”
And then I was sobbing into his chest, my eyes dry. And that was the one time that I wished that Vampires could cry. Because that’s all I wanted to do.
Jasper held me tightly in his arms and tried to whisper reassurances. I don’t know how long we stood there, I in his arms and he keeping watch for anyone who might spot us. But I knew we had to go on. Because we would never have another life if I stayed here feeling sorry for myself. As we ran through the night, it was very, very quiet.
I sat in a corner of my prison, clutching my knees tightly and rocking back and forth. If there was a memory that I could think of the most clearly, it would be that day. Nothing stood out to me more than the times I hurt Jasper. And after that day, that definitely wasn't often.
Over the next few months we searched. We didn’t need to rest or stop, except maybe to hunt. I tried to find animals along the way, but things were harder for Jasper. He had never known anything but what he was taught. That there was no other way. I hadn’t known either, but I never liked taking human lives. Jasper had been fighting in a war, before he was changed, so he was taking human life while he was still human. He had continued to do so as a Vampire. It didn’t bother him as much as it did me.
Of course, I don’t know why it should have. I couldn’t remember being a human. I couldn’t remember the pain or fear that Jasper said anyone turning into a Vampire felt. He said the “changing” was his sharpest, most clear memory. But I told him over and over that I didn’t, I COULDN’T remember. I insisted to him that it didn’t exist in my mind. And some how, I knew that he knew that I was telling the truth. It just seemed hard for him to believe it.
And I loved him too much to change him. If the gold eyed Vampires wouldn’t accept him, then I wouldn’t stay either. For while my eyes were gold like theirs, Jasper stayed red.
But I wasn’t worried. Though I didn’t tell Jasper everything about the visions, I told him all that was necessary for him to know. He seemed satisfied, and didn’t question me when I had finished telling him all I was going to.
Once, while we were walking near a road we saw a car accident. It took everything I had to drag Jasper away. There was a lot of blood. I had wanted to stay and help. There weren’t any ambulances around, or anyone else to help. Someone could be dying. But I had to keep Jasper away. Whatever happened to them, it wasn’t our place. We shouldn’t even have been there at that moment. We should both be dead.
As we traveled my visions grew stronger. I hoped that meant we were getting closer, but I couldn’t be sure. I’d seen Jasper and I, living with the others. Jaspers eyes were gold, just like the rest of us. We had our own room in the house. I guess that meant we lived there. So they would accept us. But Jaspers eyes were red now, not gold like in my vision. I didn’t know what my visions told, exactly. Were they of the assured future, or the possible future? Would Jasper EVER change his ways? Should I try harder to help him do so? I still needed a lot of answers.
I couldn’t be sure whether I was having visions of his future or if they were still of mine. I was always in them, that was for sure. That helped reassure me that Jasper and I were going to be together for a long time, maybe even forever.
Jasper was answering all the questions I could come up with. After all, there wasn’t really much to do while we traveled. Just run and run and run, and maybe walk every once in awhile when we neared a town. I also knew in advance when we were close to a place with a lot of people, so at those times we would keep more alert. While I was watching for anyone who might spot us, Jasper was looking for his next meal.

Twilight Fanfic, Page 1

I'm thinking of calling this story Rising Star, since it comes after Breaking Dawn. Any suggestions are welcomed. Well, here is the first page, work in progress!

“We strike tonight.” Carlisle's voice was firm, and I knew he was right. He turned to me.
“Edward, is Bella ready?”
“Of course.” This was the plan. We had needed Isabella all along. She was the one that would complete the plan. The plan to invade Volterra. Carlisle had been planning this for decades. We just needed the one final piece.
Alice would know if they were expecting us. Jasper had the fighting experience, should we need it. Emmett had strength. Rosalie had not proved useful, but Carlisle had kept her around anyway. He knew she was somehow important. He was right. She had brought Emmett. Emmett wouldn't stand by us without Rosalie, so she had to stay. My power was of great use to him. That's why he didn't save my mother. She wasn't “useful” enough. That's all I was. A tool. He didn't save me for my mother's sake. He just needed the power he hoped I would have.
Bella had the one power that completed the force: her shield. He shield would be what would win the battle for us. Having Renesmee be born was just a test. Not a test to see if it was possible, oh no. Carlisle had known that it was. We just needed something to lure the Volturi to use. So that we could test Isabella's shield. She needed motivation to make it stronger. Renesemee was her drive, what helped make her so powerful.
Tonight was the night. Renesmee would stay with Jacob. I hated that mutt. That dog. But it was the only way. Bella needed to know that Renesmee would be safe. While she agreed to the plan, she insisted Renesmee stay behind, so she would be safe. Carlisle agreed. After all, Renesmee would probably just get in the way anyway.
So it was time. Time to destroy the Volturi, once and for all. Carlisle would become the new ruler of the Vampire world. It had been his intent all along. All those years he'd spent in Volterra, just biding his time. Finding the weaknesses. Plotting against his 'friends' all along. Right under their noses. Aro's power couldn't even detect what Carlisle was planning. Carlisle was too powerful. Everything was perfect.

The tiger sat motionlessly on a rock, watching as the world passed her by. This tiger was nameless.. She was nameless except for the names that she had earned. Names like tyrant. She was marked by the Elves as a cold, unfeeling beast. She was feared by all who lived.
Even the other tigers avoided her. She was alone, and she was friendless. She was known as a killer. Just a common, cold-blooded killer.
One thing that made her reputation among the Elves seem even more legendary was her color. She had pure white fur and orange stripes, unusual for a tiger. None of the Elvin warriors who had gone to challenge this mythical tiger had ever returned alive.
All of the Elves knew that the tiger existed. They had seen her prowling around many times near where they lived. They trembled in fear when the saw her. She was the queen of the forest, and no one had ever been able to take her throne.

Virginity Chapter 1

I'd never meant for things to turn out this way. Well, not that many people who have one night stands ever do. I'd wanted to wait until I was married, but I guess I decided that I couldn't wait. Or, that I didn't want to. Ya, that was more of it. I was tired of waiting for sex. What did it matter anyway, if I gave up my virginity. I was old enough to decide. So was Alex. But, maybe I should start from the beginning, where things started. I don't mean how we started having sex. I mean BEFORE that. Because, there's more to this story than me just seeming like a slut. Well, here goes.

It must have been my sophomore year in high school. Ya, that was it. I had a class with June. It was History, and it was our last class of the day. Oh, June was Alex's sister. Sometimes June and I would pass notes in that class, but not very often. She played Basketball, and I was the manager. That's how we knew each other. Jenna was also one of my friends. Okay, now you might be asking "Wait, hold on, who the heck is she? Where did she come from? What's she got to do with the story?" Well, her brother, Michel, happened to be dating June. And I started hearing things from Jenna. Things that were supposed to be secrets. June and Michel were having problems with their relationship. It had had its rough spots before. I knew that. June would spend all lunch period in the bathroom talking with Michel on her cell phone. Even though I didn't really know June that well, when she wasn't in her usual spot, it was weird. I knew they must be fighing that day or something.

But back to Jenna. She and I had started passing notes. In between classes, we would exchange them. And hers would contain the latest news on June and Michel. Because Michel was her brother and June was her friend, Jenna got stuck right in the middle. June and Michel eventually broke up for good.

Junior year came. June played Basketball again, and I was manager again. I don't remember much of that year, except that Jenna and a lot of my other friends graduated.

Then Senior year came. June started giving me rides to and from B-Ball practice. I started going to her house after school, just to hang out. We usually just watched TV and got something to eat. I rarely saw her brother, Alex. When I did, he seemed angry. Almost everytime I saw him he was. He seemed like he had anger problems. Then, Senior year was over, and Summer came. June and I stopped hanging out as often. And then, in November, I found out she was moving. We started hanging out again. As much as we could. Her brother was around more often too. It was weird. Sometimes he was home during the day. Usually he came home late from work. Since I was there a lot, I saw him more and more. I usually stayed late, into the AMs. I had no curfew. Sometimes we would play Rock Band, June and Alex and me. Then things started to get a little.....weird.

I texted June a lot. All of a sudden, June started texting that Alex said "hi". I would text back, telling him "hi" too. I was just trying to be polite. Frequently I would ask how he was, but again, just to be mostly be polite. When I went to June's house, he started talking to me. Just a little; we didn't maek that much conversation.

And then, June and her family finally moved. Alex went with them to help unpack, but he was later going to drive back and live here in town still. One night I was texting June. It was pretty late, in the AMs. All of a sudden, Alex started texting me. I didn't have his number in my phone, but he told me who it was. After that, we texted for over an hour. It may have even been two or three. June stopped texting me shortly after Alex started. I eventually asked him what had happened to her. I guess she'd fallen asleep, Alex had said. That's what I'd figured. Like I said, it was pretty late. Finally one of us said good night. June never woke up and texted me back, until the next afternoon, that is.

Then Alex and I started texting more frequently. He was...nice. He could be a good friend. The hard part was trying to find things to talk about. Of course, since we didn't know each other very well, we tried to make conversation by talking about some of our interests. Just whatever we could fine to talk about. Usually it was just "How are you?"'s and "What are you doing?"'s. Nothing special.

And then one day something snapped inside of me.

Twilighters Guide to Grieving Chapter 1

Chapter 1: “You HAVE to read this book!”
-I say: “No, you don’t. But it’d be better if you did and just got it over with.”
That’s what many Twilighters will say. “You HAVE to read this book it is like the BEST book EVER! Stephanie Meyer is the greatest writer to ever live! ”
Really, she isn’t. I admit Twilight is pretty good. But SMeyer is by far NOT the best author in the world.
So, how the heck do you deal with a world that is like this? I’ll tell you.

I don’t know.

Did that scare you for just a second? Did you think this was all just a trick by a mindless Twilighter? Think again. Don’t worry, I poke fun at Twilighters as well as Twihaters.
Back to the topic. What can you do when someone tells you all the time, at least once a day that you HAVE to read Twilight. The simple solution? Read the book.

Really, would it kill you to read just ONE book? And after you read it, if you hate it…..well then you’re still going to be bothered by people saying “How can you hate this book?! Edward is so sexy! He is perfect I want a boyfriend like him! Stephanie Meyer is the greatest author EVER!”

It’ll haunt you all of your life, whatever happens. Just get used to it. Read the friggin’ book, just once! Come back and tell me if you hate it, we can make fun of it together.

Alice Cullen: The Beginning Part 1

I woke up in darkness. That wasn’t new, I was used to being in the dark. Wasn’t I? Suddenly I didn’t know anymore. I stood up, a single fluid motion that surprised me. I was fast. Had I always been this fast? I felt around me. I was inside a room. I looked to the white bed with the white sheets. They were clean and spotless, except….blood? The pillow that I had apparently been lying on was stained with splotches of blood. I felt my head with my hand next, but there was nothing. Weird. Then I figured out that I could see in the darkness, faintly. There was a door. I tried it, though I somehow knew it was locked. But the handle came off under my small hands. Wow. I was strong too. Was everyone strong and fast like me? Was there even anyone else? Was there anyone like me? Was I a freak? I crept out the door. My motions were fluent and silent. Good. I didn’t know what or who I was or where I was. Wait. What was my name? Maybe I had hit my head. Maybe I was in a hospital. But it didn’t look like a hospital. At least, I didn’t think so. All of a sudden, I heard a scream. I cringed against one of the cold stone walls. My eyes closed. I had to get out of here. Then I stopped. My eyes shot open. I saw a building. It was a small tavern or café or something of that sort. Then a man entered. He was gorgeous, except for his red eyes. They looked….unnatural. But then my vision shifted and I saw myself. I was sitting on a stool, but when the stranger entered, I immediately got up and greeted him. Then the vision faded. I could hear the tortured, agonized, screaming again. I had to get out of here. I ran through the halls of this dark place. I didn’t know where I was going. I just knew that I HAD to get out. Just them, I ran into a man who was walking down the same hall I was running. I shoved him out of the way, and he fell against one of the cold stone walls. Then, I saw a door ahead. I burst through it into an open space. It was dark, except for the big circles of light that moved on the ground and shined from above. I ran. I could see a fence ahead, but I didn’t care. One of the lights fell on me, and then I heard several sirens start. I still didn’t care. Before I could realize what I was doing, I was over the fence. I guess I had jumped. It didn’t matter. I was out of that place. I turned around to look. I didn’t know what kind of building it was, or who was inside, or what, all I knew was that I hated it, for some reason. But it didn’t matter. I would never go back. No one would ever make me go back. I ran down the empty sidewalks, tying to get as far away as I could. And to find the man in the café. Suddenly I stopped. A few feet away from me stood a small child. She looked lost and sad. Then I looked at my arms. They held the lifeless body of the child. A small trickle of blood seeped from her neck. She was dead. Had I done this? It looked like it. Why? Why had I done this? WHAT had I done, exactly? I set the child on the ground. I was a monster. I wondered what I looked like. I moved across the street to a shop that still had its lights on. I looked in the window. Oh. My eyes were red too, like that man I had seen in the café. And my face. Was pale. But….I could see splotches of red around my lips. Oh. Right. Must be the blood. I went back across the street to the girl. I opened one of her eyes. They were blue. Hm. So I really WAS a monster. Was I some demon sent from hell, to reap destruction? Was I going to kill everyone? Was that my purpose? To DESTROY? I remembered ripping the handle off the door, and pushing the man, the blood on the pillow……..the girl. I was supposed to destroy everyone and everything I could. No one could stop me. I was faster, and stronger, and probably smarter too. But if I was so smart, why didn’t I remember anything about myself? Then I remembered the café. The café! I didn’t hurt anyone there. Was I waiting for the right chance? Was I waiting for the beautiful man with red eyes? So that we could destroy together? And then, in the midst of my wonderings, I had another vision. There were five of them. They looked…….like me. Pale skin and icy eyes. Except……their eyes were gold. And they didn’t look scary, like I felt I looked. And there was a house, white on the outside, and on the inside…..One of the walls was made of glass. It was green all around outside, and the sky was cloudy. I had to get there. Now. But…..then. I saw myself, with the handsome stranger. We were holding hands and walking up to the house. We seemed…..friendly. Were we going to destroy this place and the kind looking people inside? I couldn’t be sure WHAT we were going to do. Or what I was going to do, I thought, as I came back to reality. I had to find the café. Wherever it was, wherever HE was, THAT was my future. Whatever that was.
